Change a student’s lesson price

  1. Open the student’s page.
  2. Select Change next to Price, below Bill to.
  3. Choose an existing price in Price. To make a new price instead, leave Price on New price and enter the Price name, Price rate type and Amount.
  4. Select Save.

The Price dialog for Pete with New price chosen, the Guitar Lesson name, Per hour, and an amount of 42.00

The dialog tells you what saving does. A new price applies to this student only. Other students on the old price keep it.

A new lesson price applies to invoices you create after the change. Invoices you already created keep their amounts.

Change who receives the invoices

  1. Open the student’s page.
  2. Select Manage next to Bill to. You can also select the pencil button next to Connections.
  3. Tick Send invoices to this contact on the person who now pays.
  4. Select Save.

The Connections dialog open on Ringo’s contact page, with Maureen as a Parent, Send invoices to this contact ticked, and a Remove button

To send the invoices to the student again, untick the box on every connection, then select Save.

Remove a connection

  1. Open the student’s page.
  2. Select the pencil button next to Connections, in the panel on the right.
  3. Select Remove on the connection.
  4. Select Save.

Removing a connection removes the link only. The other contact stays on your Contacts page with their details and messages. If that contact received the invoices, the student’s invoices go to the student from now on.

Contacts you no longer teach

Soniq Studio has no button to delete or archive a contact. A contact you stop teaching stays on your Contacts page. Their invoices, payments and messages stay too, so your records stay complete.

To stop lessons and settle what is owed, follow How to end lessons with a student cleanly.

If a contact must be removed, email support@soniq.studio.
